Sven & MaryAnn Johansen...
Sven and MaryAnn met during their last year of college at Stanford University. Though they had several mutual friends, they had never seen each other before. One of Sarah's best friends in college was dating one of Chris' friends, and sophomore year, they attended the same party. However, Sarah left just as Chris arrived. After several chance meetings that never occurred, Sarah and Chris found themselves in the same Swimming for Fitness class. Sarah thought that Chris was cute and Chris thought that Sarah looked good in a swim suit. Almost four years later, they are still together.

How We Became Engaged...
Sven and MaryAnn frequented their neighborhood convenience store many times for various items, wine, champagne, cat food, ice cream, potato chips...After awhile, the kindly old Korean owner noted how friendly the couple was and chatted with them often when they stopped in. Finally, when Sven was picking up something on his own, he asked Sven when he was going to marry MaryAnn and told him that he better marry her soon. Sven thought about it and said to himself, 'What a wise old man', and proposed to her the next day.
